While I don't agree with the video in my op this doesn't mean much either. Plenty of groups release weak azz songs for commercial spins too. Mobb Deep's Hey Luv with 112 was technically great for the radio too, doesn't mean it's the best track.

Method Man from the beat to the lyrics to the video encapsulated the concept of wu tang as some grimy ass obscure unique artists

Hey luv was a contradictory sell out song... and like it lol... but thats not a "mobb deep song" ... if mobb deep came out the gate being recognized for a hey luv we'd have a different image of them.

Method man REPRESENTED wu tang to the largest truest extent possible!
