Being that Bishop isn’t one of the biggest names in X-Men, it’s safe to say whoever plays him will have somewhat of a limited or complimentary role to the other big players (Think: Cheese 
)
Meth has enough acting chops to pull it off and Feige knows how to utilize every character in the sandbox properly.
Plus he’s a big time comic book geek like myself and would likely have a ton of fun given the opportunity to live out a childhood dream.

Meth looks plenty young enough to play the part. If he could handle the role why not give it to him
