Metroid Prime...WOW

I was looking at some game covers and ran across Metroid Prime and realized...damn its been 10 years since I have loved a Nintendo game outside of Mario Galaxy

This is probably a top 10 game of all time, too bad it had so much backlash because it was first person. Cot damn Nintendo fell off.



Edit: I liked Zelda Wind Waker, but Prime is a better game than that.

The game was great and the multiplayer in 2 was actually fun, If nintendo had gotten online gameplay in check metroid would have owned Halo. Imagine that game on PS3 and XBOX shyt imagine most of those classics on the other systems. I hope nintendo crashes and burns like sega and start making games only for both consoles

well, that game was made by retro studios, so if nintendo crashed and burned, they would probably have to sell off retro, then retro would not have the rights to make anymore metroid games.

if nintendo did get out of hardware after wiiu, i would love to see f-zero on the most powerful console

They have a lot of cash, so they can survive a major screw up, but i am a nintendo fanboy and i dont even want a wiiu right now. however, i still cant count the wii u out until i see how the market reacts to the other two consoles.

as far as those wiius sitting on shelves, it looks like they barely made the casuals aware of it, and the console itself is so rushed that none of the launch titles seem like they are worth getting a new console for. also, it seems overly complicated for casuals and costs more than wii so i doubt they will be getting this in droves.

All 3 of them big companies are hurting. Wii U needs to get more games of First and 3rd parties. They also need to get new franchises to it, too.

If anything, it is a good thing that the Big N got a head start this time. By the time Ps4 drops in 2014, They can get the price drop, the online play, and the games.

It's a shame Nintendo doesn't care about voice acting. These games had a great atmosphere, but you literally had to go around and scan everything to know where to go and what to do. Oh, and all the backtracking that was necessary.

The presentation could have been much better.
