Mettenburger and Murray looked like future NFL Qbs today

I was impressed by both quarterbacks. Never understood why I don't see either going in the first round in the NFL mock drafts I've looked at.

What y'all think?

I didn't get to see the game but I'll want to see the plays and passing charts before making any conclusions. From what I know, Mettenberger is a big quarterback with a bullet arm. I haven't seen him placed too highly in mocks but the potential is definitely there if he keeps playing the way he has been. If Murray outplayed Mettenberger today and made some big plays he could be in contention.

As for NFL wise neither one will be or should be a 1st rounder. They aren't that good.

Yeah I was like why the fukk can't LSU consistently get decent QB's but so far he looks real good.

I always thought Murray had good mechanics.... he just throws too many INTs

Murray is likely a bit taller than Russell Wilson so he isn't going to be super highly rated. I could see a team falling for him like Seattle did plus he and Tony Dungy are connected so he has help. Mett has red flags for off the field stuff but he could move up higher once evals start in the off season.

The read option qb is dead. They had a nice, short run. The nfl scouts have realized the air of their ways.

lsu had ZERO pressure at all on murray, id ont even think he was sacked, dude had all day in the pocket and lsu cbs are garbage.

mettenberger was allright, he holds onto the ball way to long though
