From what I can tell he probably was constantly writing, he had like multiple other characters he undertook and has quite a few collabs with other artists too.

I take a lot of cues from his writing style into my own music, he had a great way of surprising you with his subject matter in his lyrics, used a lot of words and imagery in a very unique style
