My favorite instrumental series. You can just listen to all of these from front to back without hitting fast forward. Something good to zone out to:wow:

i was gonna title this thread rap producers making real music appreciation :wow: this whole box set is amazing although now i wish i bought each special herb cd so i could have the full instrumentals. 2 mins of each is cool tho.

all i heard from Tiron is MSTRD.But he killed that tape i think it was back in 2010.
And coincedently i just finished downloading the box set off a torrent. will buy someday i hope tho

yeah they were buzzing heavier a few years back but they still drop music occasionally. breh for $18 those 82 instrumentals are worth it just to have it

My homeboy had a theory that MF DOOM jacked these beats from his brother subroc/kmd when he passed away. Maybe not necessarily jacked, but used and paid "homage" to. He pretty much said that was the reason he was able to produce all of these quality beats almost all within a short period of time. I'm not saying I buy in to that theory, but he hasn't produced that many beats since then. Whenever an artist uses a DOOM beat it's from special herbs, nothing new. I figured that Masta Ace/DOOM album that came out last year would have at least had a few new beats :lupe:

he actually credits Sub for this beat

shyts a crazy story. dude made music with his brother, his brother passed, and then he did it all himself :wow:

I was just listening to Midnight Marauders (because of that other thread), and kinda bugged when Phife shouted out Sub at the end or Problems. it's kinda crazy cause you can tell he's shouting at cats that were in the studio at the time

damn you the only other person ive ever seen post tiron & ayomari on here. they're stupid slept on.

They dropped A Sucker For Pumps and it's still one of my favorite albums, even tho it dropped in 2011. Their whole collective, The Cafeteria Line, dropped an alright project last year, HNGRY, and the two are trying to drop their next album, The Great New Wonderful this year(my homie interns for em for he said thats what they're aiming for but nothing is concrete). The two EP's they dropped April 2nd and June 18th were :ohlawd: fam. I'm a lowkey stan for them two, they're dope and creative with it.
