Miami Vice is one of those series that only worked within a certain period (the 80’s) and should be left that way (Don Johnson even said the same thing regarding a reboot of the show). 
I liked the Michael Mann version back in the day

it was a bad look he was trying to copy collateral so hard..
That film has always gotten undue hate to me, I've liked that film from the day it dropped

Yep, I think Kosinski can make a visually good film but capturing what made the show work is very hard

I mean I GET what he was trying to do but miami vice should feel like a hollywood movie not a low budget crime flick documentary...
and public enemies was trash too I heard. the live action cameras only work for some films it doesnt for all of them.
The Miami Vice brand/franchise should be left in the past
