how da hell we started that shyt ?????

gtfoh with that bullshyt !!!!!!!!!!
I see reading comprehension aint a strong trait for you!

Go back, and read my posts, listen to Slick Ricks interview, and then go listen to Uncle Luke talk about how NYC treated them, then read @Bugsmoran post. Then talk to people from other areas, and see how NYC would act when they came to their towns. I'm from NYC, and remember all of this, but I tell the truth, so I know we started the shyt. I even remember funkmaster flex dissing live on the radio, and Mack 10 came out here to the Tunnel, and called that nikka out on his dissing.

Now stop fronting like none of this stuff ever happened, and people were just dreaming about there issues.

Wouldn' the fact that a East coast rapper looked out for him prove it wasn' that deep outside of the magazine' and certain circles..
I guess you gonna ignore people constantly pushing pac, and knocking over his weed, then saying he was a west coast nikka. That was extreme, but its no secret the east was constantly dissing them. Its funny how people all of sudden forget this shyt when things change!

1. so, u just gonna act like slick rick wasnt talking greasy about damn near every rapper named in that interview
i mean, rick basically dissed run the younger brother of russlle whom was rick boss

2. 2live crew made booty shaking music - in that time / era, that type of hiphop wasnt gonna resonate in nyc
(BTW... luke & his crew are from Florida - how dose this pertain to east coast west coast beef)

3. tim dog did that song for his own benefit/come up ; west was selling way more then da east & he problaly felt it was a good way to get his name out... plus it was originally a response to NWA in an interview where they kinda took a lil jab at the bronx
(fukk Compton was a dope song but personally im not a fan of doing a diss song for those reasons)

4. what is this mack 10 vs flex tunnel diss ? flex may had words for west side connection, but i dont ever recall an incident at the tunnel

finally i was there in real time, the east coast is just like every other place (we like what we like)
in the west... they bump predominately west coast artists
in the south... they bump predominately southern artists
as in the mid west... they bump predominately mid west artists

so WHY.............,,,,
its only a problem when east coast, but rather new york bump our own shyt ???

:whoa: dont get it twisted : WE AINT START shyt :whoa:

1-SLick Rick dissed ALL of the west coast, not a few. The point was the east was talking disrespectful, and like the poster showed, west coast artists seen the shyt, and responded.

2-They were from Down South, but NYC saw everyone as country bamas, so they were seen as the same thing. It wasn't until west coast popped with Death Row, that the west coast was seen as different. Again, my point was how disrespectful NYC was to people from other regions. It was called east coast/west coast beef because the west were the ones who responded back heavy, and with violence.

3-I didn't say rappers made songs dissing the west, I said it was the fans, and the media, just like the poster linked. And what Jab was this towards the Bronx? I was heavy into hip hop, and never heard ANYONE dis NY, they ALL respected us. I used to go out of town, and they loved us, except a few for certain reasons, and some were warranted. This guy talks about it in this "welcome to deathrow" documentary:

4-That wasn't known, I saw it locally, but I remember Funkmaster flex shytting on the west coast on his show. Somehow Mack 10 knew about it, and called him out on "streetfunk tv". Anyone who was deep into hip hop remembers all of this, but the media is in NYC so they can rewrite history to make things seem different, but we started it with the disrespect, plain & simple. I was one of them, but I saw it was dumb after a while, BUT I got laughed at for playing the shyt, I was a dj!

You can like what you like, but be respectful, that is what caused the problems, the disrespect. I remember when DMX was asked if he liked Cash money's music while on tour with them, but he was respectful about it, and he said "I respect it". That is the difference between someone who doesn't like music, but is respectful, and another just calling people bamas, stupid for gangbanging over colors, and wack ass nikkas, when those people never said anything disrespectful to them. The issue is the people who were dissing were soft, and got their cards pulled by the west, and the south. I remember when NYC people were playing that tough guy shyt, and got shot up down south, I have countless stories of NYC thinking shyt is sweet, and got killed or shot out of town. I had some issues with out of towners, but because I was respectful the shyt only went to fighting, and the people held me down.

I mean, Pac was popular but prior to maybe his last 5 months in particular, he wasn't some mythological/untouchable figure. He was just a really popular rapper that would be around other known rappers all the time, so most of the 90s rappers that were on I'm sure ran into/talked to Pac at one point or another.

God damn, some of these bitter new york guys can't even give Pac credit for living a full life while he was here:martin:

I hear that. It’s just that most people who tell a Pac story go beyond just your typical “yeah one time I dapped him up at a club/award show” type deal. It’s usually a distinctive event or extended interaction (i.e...Kool G Rap riding through the LA Riots with Pac while he’s bussin his gun out the window.)

And it’s not just rappers. Celebs like Tony Danza, Dave Chappelle, Cari Chamipion, etc.

Pac had the glow, but a lot of niccaz east of the Mississippi refuse to acknowledge it.

It's always going to be a "He wasn't all that!:shaq2:" with them.....No other rapper has more tall tales and legends from various sources.

He seemed to leave a deep impression on folks

To be fair Pac is gone. So his name and the stories has been selling since he passed. I mean would
you even remember them people talking about Pac if it just was some regular "dapped him at the club" type shyt? Celebs
lie and/or exaggerate all the time.
