No taunt.

Michael Beasley denied he was glaring at the Miami bench in overtime as he tripped over Wayne Ellington at AmericanAirlines Arena on Friday, spraining his left ankle.

Beasley missed most of the overtime in the Knicks’ loss, then missed Sunday’s win in Dallas. He wore a walking boot after the game. Replays appeared to show Beasley backpedaling and staring down the Heat bench after his power-drive bucket gave the Knicks a two-point lead in the opening minute.

“No, I was trying to turn,’’ Beasley said. “Just took a backstep before I turned around. Freak accident.”

The odds of Beasley making his return Wednesday against Chicago at the Garden are good, as he’s known to play through injuries and is on a huge tear, averaging 17.5 points since the start of December.

“One hundred percent — not 100 percent [sure], but I’m definitely hoping [Monday] to get up some shots,” Beasley said.

Beasley’s 20 points in 23 minutes in Miami is the most he’s ever scored against the franchise with which he has had three separate stints, feeling each time coach Erik Spoelstra didn’t give him his just due.

“I was just trying to get a win,’’ Beasley said. “I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a win against them to my recollection. If I did, maybe it’s one and I didn’t play.”

In a Sunday Q&A with The Post’s Steve Serby, the red-hot reserve boasted: “I don’t think there’s a man on the earth that can stop me from scoring a basketball. I take that back. I know there’s not a man on earth that can stop me from scoring a basketball.”

If replays weren’t distorted and he taunted Miami on Friday on that play, the only human who could stop Beasley is Beasley himself.

Michael Beasley is a clear case of a "kid superstar" who got hyped too soon. Nikka was supposed to be a more athletic melo. Obviously kid had potential as he seems to now just starting to take his career seriously. Im getting rude just thought he was the truth @18-20 years old and got jumbled big time his first two years in the league. Even naturally gifted talent need a work ethic

Beasley was balling. His game is fun to watch. I wish he was able to put it together when he was here in Miami but sometimes it just takes time and a change of scenery for some people to put it together. Hopefully he has found a home in New York.

That was the weirdest ankle sprain I've seen in a while :dahell:
