Michael Brown Art Exhibit Opened in Chicago and Cops Are Furious

Police are furious about a new art exhibit that is all about the murder of Michael Brown by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.

The display in Chicago, Illinois includes a life-size portrayal of Michael Brown as he lay face down, right after he was killed last year.


It also includes a black statue of liberty, and a noose dangling from a neon sign.

The exhibit also features a plaque with the words “I Can’t Breath”; referencing the Eric Garner police involved death in New York.

A Brown family member praises the exhibit.

The artist is a white woman from New Orleans.

She says it represents white privilege in America and how it negatively affects the black community.


The exhibit runs through August 10th.

I don't understand why the Media and African Americans focused so much on this case where he appears to have stolen from the store. It would've been better to focus on Tamir Rice, Eric Garner, or that dude John Crawford III who got killed for a toy gun in Walmart.

RIP to Mike Brown but there were (are) better cases to rally around.
