Black men are viewing a guy in Ice Cube who clearly went to the democrats with that document written by actual experts, and the democrats only wanted to use Ice Cube to "get out the vote". He was demonized for daring to ask for policy. He was called stupid by people like Michael Harriot and Roland Martin for demanding more than symbolism. Half of this thread is people simply calling him stupid. It's their strategy. Somehow democrats think repeatedly calling black men stupid will get them more votes. It's damn near a form of mental illness.

Black men don't even want to be pandered to, because I know one of these people will say "so you just wanna be called smart, huh?" Nope. People just want real stuff that's going to make our lives better.

And i think it's wild how nobody had time for Cube when he was shopping that document around, but when it's time to tear down a black man people schedules clear up.

The article was clever in a way I would expect from one of my students. The analogy about baking soda was ridiculous. The drug comparison was somewhat offensive (why crack?) The cute little name adjustments in the quotes was petty and exposed the obvious disdain the author has for the subject. The intent of the piece was an attempt to reduce a successful artist and business man to the point of questioning his ability to engage in serious political discourse.
I think that is the point that sticks out the most as it seems to be a reoccurring theme with left leaning black political pundits. This idea that the “common sense” and the “anti-white supremacy” party is the Democratic Party. The reiterating of Bidens “then you ain’t black” stance is the exact opposite of where black voters need to be this upcoming election cycle.
It should no longer be about which white team is the lesser of two evils, but how to leverage the most out of either party. Any black man/woman openly condemning another black person without any other reason than disagreeing with whom they appear to share company with is playing games, and most definitely has a puppet masters hand shoved up their ass.
