Michael Jackson Biopic Rumored to Become Two-Part Film

"The forthcoming Michael Jackson biopic, Michael, directed by Antoine Fuqua, is set to become a two-part movie.

According to Variety, the film produced by Lionsgate and Universal Pictures International will adjust its current Oct. 3 release date. Michael has a $155 million budget and will star Jaafar Jackson as Michael, with Colman Domingo and Nia Long as Joe and Katherine Jackson.

Additional stars in the film are Larenz Tate as Berry Gordy and Laura Harrier as Suzanne de Pass. Kat Graham is tapped for Diana Ross.

The film is also undergoing a script revision that will require reshoots after principal photography is released."

This shyt was supposed to come out this month. Hard to imagine they will get it out this year. shyt if you making it in a 2 part film from a 1 part aint no telling how long that will take. I am willing to be patient if they do it right but after the fact rewrites and reshoots isn't necessarily reassuring. I just hope they do the GOAT justice.
