At of the time of this post, there are THREE major commercials using MJ's music

- Amazon
- Capitol One
- Nike (odell beckham)

Then there's the TV specials about his life, the re-airing of the Halloween kids special, the IMAX 3D release of THRILLER

But why? his posthumous album flopped, his streaming numbers do okay, but aren't breaking records like the Drake's and Bruno's...

The real reason is one most people won't openly admit; and that's people are thinking about MJ all the time
even if not every day at least once a week...even the knuckle dragging haters cracking pedophile and skin bleaching jokes...
MJ is on their minds too

Suck your teeth and roll your eyes if you want, but I don't see that many beatles and elvis specials or music being used to sell products...and they supposedly sold more records than MJ :coffee:

Long live the king :blessed:

interesting topic...I havent noticed me thinking about MJ on a regular basis, but I'ma start paying attention to it

I have been bumping lady in my life randomly for the past few weeks though for some reason

and before that, I've been bumping they dont really care about us too

edit :....I just realized that I didn't feel the need to capitalize those song titles in these past sentences

MJ is so great that you can even sprinkle random song titles in a paragraph and you

automatically assume that the reader knows what song you're talking about.

you dont need to obviously point it out by capitalizing it

Most underrated MJ track of all time. shyt is timeless. On the subject, dude was just the greatest to ever do it. Hell, to piggyback on the thread, Sega sampled the above track for fukking Sonic the Hedgehog.

His impact can't be overstated. Dude was borderline otherworldly.

mike actually composed the soundtrack to that game

when he heard the little 16 bit computer music he was disappointed and withdrew his name from the project
