It's Freddie Gibbs saying it so you could have a point lol. It ain't out the realm of possiblity though, Gary a small city and the Jackson 5 was performing at schools throughout the city back then. He performed when my mama went to school over there, lotta Gary folk got stories about the Jacksons the same way Memphis folk got stories about Stax.
