Crescent kicks are hard to block because of perspective. He does a lot of perspective training in his fights that I love. However, that's a really hard kick in general to pull off and only works on similar or smaller sized opponents. The idea of a kick is, you get more power so hopefully a well placed one could even take someone out larger. If you don't know what you're doing, you'll get KO'd from the counterstrike easily. If you're going do that, you might as well go all in with the spinning double crescent kick, at least it would be harder to stop because it's your full body weight.
But then again I ain't did martial arts in 20 years so wtf do I know.
