Facts.
People don't hear you though. The bug leagues is business first and foremost. Mafia was heavily involved in the NFL from what I recall.

I love my sports but can only show the leagues so much attention... many things just never sit right with me. (We vetoing trades? Lol)

Rather play than watch other men play anyway.
Yeah the NFL was heavily funded on mafia money. That league is the dirtiest of all. How the fukk else do you explain an $11 billion a year league being non profit status and paying no taxes? As for the veto of the Chris Paul trade, the league was the de facto owner of the hornets at the time, so it was a valid move, although one that rubbed a lot of people wrong since it happened right after Dan Gilbert wrote that letter crying no fair since another team besides his was making moves to improve potentially.

I read what you posted wrong. I thought you said they should've teamed up with Jordan.

You can clearly see that's what I thought you meant in my other comment nikka :stopitslime:.

And your comment was still random and a deflection tatic :yeshrug:. Do better breh

It took last night? Not game 6 of the WCF in 2002? Not the 1991 WCF? Not Mike pushing his defender out of the way on his last shot? Not Cleveland winning 3 of the 4 lotteries when LeBron was in Miami? Not the 7-8 points the referees swung in favor of Oklahoma City in game 6 of the 2012 WCF? Not the fact that only 3 times this millennium that the worst record won the lottery? Not the 64 free throws that the Suns shot in game 7 in 1993? shyt seems a bit arbitrary doesn't it?

I'd like to hear more about this:ohhh:

Me and another poster was going back & forth about that '91 Lakers squad.

I said they were:flabbynsick:, but he argued they weren't.Referencing them knocking out a deeply talented Trailblazers squad(WCF) en route to the Finals.

What you have to say about that squad, breh?:jbhmm:

I kinda feel him tho.. The end of the OKC game was weird. Its like they stopped playing altogether.. Westbrook was just throwing it up there

I kinda knew GS was gone win game 6 just based on the fact the the NBA is going to Cash the fukk out on a game 7 between these squads.

Everyone wants to see GS vs a full strength Cavs team anyway... Give the people what they want :yeshrug:

This this and more this. All of these teams either had no second scorer or no depth or were sorely lacking in defense on the wings or in the paint. All of these teams were terribly flawed besides the sonics and the magic, and they tragically blew up before they were ready to take over their conference. If any of the others were actually great, they would have won at least once. As for the notion of how a team gets built and stars teaming up, you do what it takes to to win. Screw all that "built the right way" shyt. That's a media driven narrative entirely spawned out of jealousy of teams that spend money smart in free agency. There never was or is an "easy way out". Real competition is searching for every way to win. If your top concern is if you're the top dog on the team as opposed to winning, then you aren't as great as advertised in the first place. We didn't have real competitiveness among the rest of the 90's in the sense that these teams were great. We had mediocrity. If they had teamed up, maybe they would have won a few titles and get the credit they should, and the Bulls would have actually had some competition. It's absurd we credit Jordan with the Bulls front office making great trades to fit the team well and lay blame on other stars for not being as fortunate. How is it Patrick's fault that his best teammate during his prime is best known for going 2-18 in game 7 of the finals? It wasn't just Mike either, which is the worst part of how the 90's gets remembered. He wasn't the guy guarding magic in the 1991 finals, and the Bulls won series clinching games and title clinching games with mike shooting 5-19 and 7-22. The reality of the 90's is that the Bulls were the only team that both had the potential to be great AND reached that potential.
There is an easy way out. All you have to do is bow down to another elite player while you're in your prime just for a piece of jewelry. I get it, though. In this current era, with media and marketing the way it is, it's easy for an elite player to forego bigger contract money to team up. If you're a star and you win it all, your endorsement dough will pile up to compensate what you sacrificed to be on the winning team. It doesn't work all the time. Bron swore he was gonna win 7-8 titles in Miami. In 2011 they had those chemistry issues. D Wade was a 1A player and took a backseat to Lebron and they still took a while to mesh.

The current salary cap is $90 million. The cap in 95 was $16 million. You're talking about teams and players from 20 years ago like the game was the same back then. There was more emphasis on defense and toughness. The Knicks and the Pacers in the 90's definitely weren't lacking defense.

The Bulls team of the 90's was built by the draft. Their major contributors were all drafted except Rodman. The Bulls front office gets no respect now or back then.
