I read the book. If that is the cast. I think Leo is playing WARDELL (the villain) I think Bale is playing PACINO (which would put Bale & Leo a head on collision in the past and present) and I think Austin Butler is playing Kilmer.

But I'm not sure who Bradley Cooper would be playing.
Is the storyline as good as the first one?

That's fine. I just want to know if he can still direct like he did at his peak. :whew:

At this rate with this cast

The critics are goin to be out Day 1, tryin to look at every poss reason to kall this a huge flop considering the talent assembled

Just like when the OG Heat dropped and was met with critics takin shots at deniro and Pacino first on screen collab

Hopefully they can deliver

They got a one off 30th anniversary showing at my local cinema next week for the first movie, but it's not gonna be on IMAX. :stopitslime: They've shown much inferior older movies on IMAX, but a flick that has one of the best, if not THE best shootout ever gets played on a regular screen. :stopitslime:

This is wack. Amazing cast wasted on a prequel/sequel to a classic film. No one will remember the sequel, it will have no real cultural impact, it can't match the first one...so why do this? Why not do something new? Adapt something that's never been adapted, or have Mann direct a good crime script from someone.
