at the realistic gun sound effects. loud and awful sounding like real guns going off. no pea shooters here. michael mann is mediocre in a lot of other areas, but his gun fight scenes are among the best i've seen on film

Honestly I prefer the final gun fight in Miami Vice to that scene in Public Enemies. But the Heat shootout is an all-timer. The club scene in Collateral is great too.
