Do y'all know what fully cleared means? If he is at no risk of injury, and he has no pain, what is he hurting?

Doesn't mean he's in game shape just yet. And by the time he is it might be too late, there's going to be a small sample size if he returns and poor play will be scrutinized even more.

He can do very little to boost his stock.

whats even worse than him not playing as well as he used to is if the back injury flares up again which is not very unlikely for back injuries.

fully cleared and game shape aren't the same thing

neither is fully cleared and able to protect his draft stock
Nobody said he was playing Saturday. They said he’s cleared for all activities. If he’s all good physically, I don’t see why he can’t practice for a week or two, play a game or two in the regular season, and play the postseason. Real doctors know better than any coli doctor whether he’s at further risk of injuring his back by playing games in a few weeks.

I didn't say he was playing saturday either :ehh:

unless he's going to improve his draft stock, and that's not even all that likely because no one lights it up immediately following a significant injury, then why play at all? that's got nothing to do with being an armchair doctor either

for the record i don't even think giles should've played

Not smart but I'm happy about it cause I wanna see him play so bad. Plus I highly doubt he'll get hurt. It's risky but I feel like at the end of the day it will improve his stock

He’s kinda the forgotten man amongst prospects now. He comes back and drops a couple 20 point games and he can hop right back into the #1 pick conversation. At 18/19 I’d take the hype around my name over the silence and questions too. :manny:
