Michael Sam's performance in first CFL game, awful

I wanted him to get a fair shot cuz I believed he honestly wanted to be a player and he got a lot of kneejerk hate. Plus I wanted NFL players to prove that they weren't as "bigoted" as people expected/wanted them to be.

But terrible is terrible. He had no business in the NFL..or CFL from the looks of things

he never got taught every rookie in there is getting taught on how to imrpove he never got that teaching he shoulda never said shyt about his sexuality

it's just funny when a bigger celebrity like tim cook is under the radar...like you forget he's gay cause it's not his badge like a heterosexual doesn't wear a badge. tim cook is ceo of apple is the first thought and usually only thought that comes to mind.

mike smith wore the badge of being homosexual instead of a football player. it was okay for him to come out, but he should have been lower key so he could focus on football. no reason a solid performer in the SEC should have fell off the map that bad if they focus was on football.

Imagine Jackie Robinson being a trash baseball player and then quitting baseball after just 1 game. That would have set back black athletes by at least 50 years.

you never see Tim Cook all out there like that...he should have talked to him. Tim Cook be taking fan pics at sweatshop and Apple stores, but he don't be doing all that extra. Mike Sams lost focus.

Exactly. Tim cook came out of the closet. Was getting crazy media attention about it for about 2 weeks but dude just kept going about his business. Dude didn't talk about it every chance he got.

What he shoulda done is stayed in the closet until he was in the league and a regular rotation player. Although he sucks so I guess that would have never happened.

I defended him when he came out and defended him when he was, imo unfairly cut from the Rams, but it seems like after that his heart wasn't in the game and that I can't defend. He hasn't shown any improvement. In fact he's regressed.
