Sounds like a major slow down in Kinect development...the bulk of the layoffs are Nokia employees.

That was a terrible acquisition but that's another conversation.

I would argue that it is for Sony...its the only thing keeping them afloat.

Microsoft on the other hand should sell off the xbox brand if they are looking to dip. Hopefully to an American company.

You know damn well the margins in the console business is razor thin. Sony definitely makes more profit from Sony Pictures, Sony Music, their insurance business, & etc.
