The City wants workers to pay for ancillary costs of commuting and in office work: Public Transportation fees, parking fees, Toll fees, Restaurant businesses near where you work for breakfast & lunch, Taxi fees, etc

either way we as long as we WORK on the working days it doesnt matter where we work.

Because you would be on two different networks. Most likely they will have certain subnets located at designated work places listed as "Office" networks that you have to be connected to for it to work. VPN would not be one of those since you will not be connected to one of those local networks.

Really applies to those with hybrid schedules or those with out-of-state managers.

But yeah.....anyone working on a company computer should assume they're being watched. I don't do anything that I wouldn't do if my boss was standing behind me in the office.
