:snoop: I've mentioned several times in the past. There is not a CPU on the market that is powerful enough to play PS3 or Xbox360 games via software emulation. Let alone the weak-ass CPU in the PS4/Xbox1 that are meant for tablets/laptops. Folks are making big deal out that throw away comment.

They're better off emulating original Xbox games and/or streaming Xbox 360 games to Xbox one.

Won't be any time soon, if ever, and most likely won't work the way I'd want it to (using my own discs and no extra fee)

I'm fine with turning on my 360. The system ain't exactly ancient and archaic, they should focus on other things imo

no way in hell it would let you just slide in your old 360 disks

And they're just doing this because they want competition for playstation now

Yup cause satam55 knows more than the engineers that built the system :heh:

YouTube and Netflix apps are better on the 360 as well. My arcade stick isn't compatible yet. Custom themes/backgrounds.

There's only one or two games I'd want ported over anyway, and only one of those I wouldn't mind paying for a second time and hopefully get people back online to play it

:stopitslime: You mean the same engineers that are in denial (At least publicly) about the Xbox1 having inferior specs to the PS4?

Doesn't take an engineer to know that the CPUs in the PS3/Xbox360 are PowerPC-based CPU and the CPUs in the PS4/XB1 are X86-based CPUs. Hence software emulation is gonna be needed. And the CPU in the PS4/XB1 is meant for tablets. It ain't powerful enough.

Trying to think of something I want to play on the 360 at this stage in the game.....

Yeah, got nothing. The difference with the PS3 and 360 is that the 360s strongest exclusives seemed to have come out earlier in the consoles life. Nobody is tryna play Halo 4 or GoW:Judgment
