that's why Sony can't keep the PS4 in stock. it probably would have been the same with the Xbox One had Microsoft not flooded way less retail chains with so many systems. people perceive the PS4 to be in higher demand but Sony ships less because its available in more places.

I think once MS gets some more games on the shelf they'll be fine. Im guessing Gears of War is dropping 2015, at least i hope so

They saved Japan for last Sony wanted to hit the other important places first have the other side of the world on lock... it's strategy. When Sony jumps off in japan it's a wraps for Microsoft. They trying to release over in japan themselves but the 360 did poorly, the xbox one isnt even a thought over there.

Define wrap? Hmmm ok ill start by saying the only place Xbox one is currently selling well is in the US. but that's slowing down. First they said they will sell in 21 territories then it went down to 11... the thing is Sony has a stranglehold in other parts of the world. Europe, Germany. ETC. Japan is the last stop for Sony they have homecourt advantage. Msoft said they will focus on japan too, but the 360 couldnt make a dent there what makes them think japanese gamers are even remotely interested in an american made system that doesnt have the types of games they want. it's a fact most of the games that came out for last 360 those kids didnt even want to play. If Sony was to match production and step their game up and get the product out to match the demand then it's a wrap.

I vaguely remember that now before the systems dropped that news came out revealing that the X1 was going to be sold in less places.

Sony can launch the PS4 in Japan in 2017 and it will still crush the xbox out there, shyt is a guaranteed W. It was a good strategy by Sony to delay the launch out there and stomp on Microsoft after the Mattrick disaster in the U.S.

Yeah, its bad. I was in wal mart the other day and they legitimately had a sign on the door that musta been old cause it was half faded that said "Xbox Ones in stock". When I got to entertainment, I expected them to be gone by then but there was probably 6 or 7 just chillin under there.
And Xboxes don't sell outside of the US and EU brehs. Doesn't matter where it hasn't started selling yet. MS knows it doesn't really matter and they can just take their time in those places.
