I am going to put like this..I have all systems..I am a gamer I only play my ps4 right now though because I am only playing FIFA, I was playing 3ds until last month when I beat the new Zelda, but other than that nothing else because nothing is out there...games have fell off hard since especially the 90's. I am honestly kinda bored with games nowadays same thing over and over.
What I can say though about Microsoft that I do not like is 2 things. Bill Gates created something to make him one of the richest person in the world from wayyy back in the 80's and the trend that he carries is brilliant for him and his company but is terrible for the consumer but they dont care because its forced buying.
1. Releasing products that require more money to be spent to use it:
They have been creating sole priority software back in the 80's that could only run within its own OS. You always had to upgrade the system and software or your wouldnt be able to use it in full or potentially at all since it was outdated. They basically pushed out other companies such as Clarisworks because it couldnt work with many office suites and they tried to create a monopoly. There were many many lawsuits that were settled out of court not to bring publicity but this was unfair to customers because they were forced to buy forced to upgrade and forced others out of business even if they had a following such as xbox and sony users....
2. They release incomplete/faulty products to makes sales/marketshare then add updates/fixes later. This is unfiar to the customer because its selling an unfinished rushed product to a hardworking customer just to make $$. This has been done with ALL of the office products/os systems since 80's as well and was known, it was just brought to light to the younger generation that started buying games when they had massive ring of death problems. This is not fair to customers at all.
They saw that gaming was a big market and followed these same processes and it worked, and saw other ways to make $$ such as charging to play online, in game add ons which is BS because now I feel like I am nickle and dimed to buy a incomplete game for full price and pay for things that were free...For instance back in the day I paid $49 for a mortal kombat and had all characters, now pay more and get incomplete games and have to pay more $$ for more characters which is bs....by the time a customer purchases dlc they spent well over $100 which is fukry to the person purchasing a product...that is robbery.
They tried to come out again with the xbox one making it with even crazier ways to create a monopoly but it backfired when they had new announcements and lost many loyal customers because they started to overdo things...
That is the only problem I have with microsoft as a company..other than that both Sony and Microsoft have some good exclusives, neither will fail during this generation of games its all about customer loyalty/preference of games/ controllers etc....neither system is garbage and in time both systems will get better as developers learn how to maximize the hardware...
its just that microsoft is on that shady business practice/monopolization s**t
The flame wars are like Jay Z and Nas both are good rappers but people are die hard as fuk.
