I guess since they don't own the rights to Mega Man but wanna make another Mega Man game they had to do it with a new character. Capcom should have just gave them the rights if they have no more plans for the character.

It hasn't been covered by major news outlets yet. When word gets out that the creator of Megaman is working on a Megaman type game after being denied a proper Megaman game by Capcom, the numbers are gonna skyrocket.
