sad part is the shyt is completely unavoidable

but hey

got the poor people thinking it's borders are the most important thing in the world worth defending, while the elites kick their feet up and put finger after finger in their pocket tellin' em its all the immigrants/migrants fault shyt is falling apart

however, as bleak as it all seems history is not yet written in stone

Tourism adds money to the economy so I’m doing my part to help the Mexican economy

I said funny as a figure of speech, the story of Haitians in Tijuana is interesting especially compared to what is happening now with Central Americans, the Haitians accepted Mexican asylum, Central Americans have not, hopefully the tear gas makes them come to their senses

There's been about 2300 murders in Tijuana this year, and will probably close on 2500, in a city with 1.7 million population, that alone is near a humanitarian crisis. I don't think people realize what life is like in Tijuana for the poor and underclasses. It is very hard, and impossibly grim. I love TJ, but I have money, I have the luxury to cross and ride through those neighborhoods in a taxi, eat at a taco stand on a street corner, or a high end spot in Zona Rio. I am insulated from the day to day living in a place where there were 28 killings in the last 24 hours.

Almost all those murders are concentrated in the poorest sections of the city, where migrants and refugees, and the rest of the underclasses live. Can you imagine a life with that level of violence? People are murdered, bodies dropped off, hung from bridges, and children still go to school, still walk by dismembered body parts.

There are other parts of Mexico other than Tijuana

Mexico doesn't mind as long as they keep on moving right through to the US, then they tax their asses on the way through (raping women, robbing immigrants, etc).
