i give thsi album a 7-8/10

pineapple skies, sky walker, banana clip, wolf , harem, city of angels, caramelo duro are certified. as a major prince fan. im not saying it sounds like prince. but its got prince vibes and originality. miguel as always had that. there is a certain funk to his music that i dig and that is missed in music period. i dont see the hate for this album. i love the political speak on the album. i also dont get the hate for wild heart i think its funky as hell. but it is last on the list of his albums

Lol.... nikkas just say shyt to say it now. You can't be successfully making music for over ten years and be a footnote. GTFOH

ok, maybe i was guilty of exaggerating a bit, but it just confuses how people can laud chris brown who, let's be honest, has an appeal based on b1tches who are obsessed with dude. chris brown can dance, yes. but that voice, that nasally voice, seriously?! does chris brown have songs we'll play in 10 years time? bonafide classics?? "loyal"? lol

i've seen miguel live and vocally dude doesn't miss a step. he's actually an entertainer as he can dance too. i'm biased somewhat as i generally think he's underrated as fuk but i think talent wise there's noone out there who can fuk with him. every single album he's ever released has CLASSICS that can stand alone

all that i want

- teach me

KD

- adorn
- use me

wildheart - this album as fukkin dope, full of bangers

- coffee
- going to hell

and this new one, actually may even be my favourite as i haven't stopped listening to it. pineapple skies is a classic. and let's not forget this is a cat who produces (he produced "adorn" alone) and writes and it's not "these ho3s aint loyal" it's "sedate me, salacious salty and sweet, i'm overwhelmed by tasty thoughts of you, daydream, my body's waving a white flag..."

listen to the music guys. dude is a musician, and that's what music's about, the artistry of it all

I would love to talk about what you didn't like about Wildheart if you have the time.

Sure. Wildheart to me felt incomplete every time I listened to it. As if some tracks were unfinished. The sequence of songs could have been better. Hell, I also think the second half of KD could have been sequenced better too and that’s my favorite of his outside his first.

Breezy has tracks that will stand the test of time...but otherwise your overall point is correct. Miguel is an amazing artist and singer.

This is firmly top 3. I may even move it to #2 as it'll get more burn over time than Damn

Very dope album. I don't understand how Miguel isn't a bigger star than he is. His music is just stands out to me and seems better than a lot of artists in his lane.

Really liked the last album too but thought this one was more balanced and a little less dark/alternative rock influenced and more pop (late 80s pop) sounding which is easier for more ppl to digest.

Weeknd/Bruno Mars/Frank Ocean

Where exactly is he going to eat with these 3 being on top ?
