‘It’s Past Weird’: NYC Sports Radio Icon Mike Francesa Blasts Odell Beckham Jr. Sideline Antics
The ongoing saga of New York Giants receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s love/hate relationship with the kicking net continued Sunday. Following a Beckham touchdown which gave the Giants the lead in their game against Baltimore with less than two minutes remaining, the star wideout embraced the net and fell beneath it in celebration.
One prominent sports talker was not amused. WFAN radio’s Mike Francesa blasted the Giants receiver Monday for his sideline hijinks.

“His antics make me sick,” Francesa said.
He added: “What was so funny about that?” What made that so hilarious?”
Francesa, a former CBS Sports host who has ruled afternoon drive radio in New York for the past three decades, went on a nearly seven minute rant Monday criticizing Beckham and the Giants organization for placating their star.
“I think it’s weird,” Francesa said. “I think it’s past weird.”
