I randomly thought about the Mets fan gettingover Matt Harvey in 2015, I didn't know WFAN made a actual cartoon clowning the guy!
This was uploaded by the actual WFAN Youtube page
Mike's disgust at the caller crying about baseball still makes me
What's crazy is Mike's reaction got cut short and the full video of his reaction to this call isn't online anymore![]()
I think the problem is outside of major media markets you're getting stuck with syndicated slop. I'm not going to listen to some comms grad from Syracuse and some washed up ex-NFL guy from the Vikings do a worse version of First Take everyday.Do people under 35 years old listen to sports talk radio? Philly radio is the best after a terrible football/basketball/baseball loss. lolI think the problem is outside of major media markets you're getting stuck with syndicated slop. Instead I can curate my own shyt with a podcast for each team that's going to be way more informative than the ESPN slop. But you don't get visceral anger or suffering that you do on local sports talk radio. Everyone on these podcasts carries themselves like they're audtioning for head of scouting.
I think if you live in a city that has NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL it's probably crack. Or if you have at least an NFL team. My favorite thing to do after major market teams flop is to find the local radio stations to listen to fans spaz. Yankees, Red Sox, most NFL teams all crack after a bad or embarrassing loss. For NBA teams you want to hit twitter spaces.
Schadenfreude is a science.![]()
The season before last when the Eagles were bad that shyt was pure uncut cocaine. I didn't listen once last season. :Russ:Philly radio is the best after a terrible football/basketball/baseball loss. lol
