Ain't nobody tryin to get indicted.
A1) I am for the advancement of black people around the world.
I hear a lot of talk regarding poisons in the black community. The poisons are 1) black people or 2) groups of conspirators.
Blaming the victim is an easy answer. People who blame rappers, celebrities, and the common man for the condition the black community is in is odd to me.
The common man has no power or influence in sectors of government and economics that have created the conditions black people live in.
Rappers often are telling rags to riches stories. They are inspirational to impoverished people because they know having more money would improve their lives.
Rappers are easy to identify with because they look like the poor and they talk like them. Rappers are the reporters, speakers, and entertainers of the black community. They cover a wide variety of topics.
They are not toxic. Hip Hop isn't toxic. Hip Hop gives young men a purpose and options. Art shows people there's a large world outside their community and an even bigger world in their minds.
For every person negatively influenced by a rap song there's a someone who's positively influenced.
Future may inspire people to do drugs and visit strip clubs but he also reminds former go getters to stay on the less evil path.
"they got blood on the money and I'm still count it."
At first glance one would assume future is talking about blood being on money. What I hear is this: capitalism is an evil system. It's the engine behind white supremacy. Which is responsible for the deaths of millions of black people and I'm still reliant on it for survival.
It's a double edged sword.
"if your crack house doing numbers then you're blessed. Move your momma to the burbs from the jects."
Many black children are taking care of their parents. I mean pre teens and teenagers. Living in the jects is some real shyt. There aren't many job opportunities, especially well paying ones.
Kids raising kids and feeling desperate enough to do anything to support their loved ones is very real. I appreciate rappers speaking for those kids because nobody else does.
They don't vote so politicians don't care about them. They can't afford college so they're not being given that option. They're also hungry right now.
Again, blaming the victim is odd to me when the systems that created the conditions that bred that mentality is alive and well.
Even if all black people stopped listening to rap and removed themselves from hip hop culture white supremacy and racism would still exist. We exist in these conditions. We did not create them.
There are no oligarchs specifically targeting black people for extermination.
There used to be, those groups created racism and other social systems that created the conditions black people Iive in. They called themselves pilgrims and settlers. The real terrorists came out of the Mayflower.
Finally, it doesn't a high level of intelligence to stand in the middle of the room and point out people's shortcomings.
A mark of intelligence is finding a resolution to the issue rather than focusing on the results of the issue.
My resolution is complete anarchy. The system is shyt. so let's reject it. quit your job. drop out of school. waste your education. Aspire to be nothing more than what you are. Racists invented the system and the standard. Both are racist by design.
