So I'm completing my "mobile office" setup and am looking for a lightweight inconspicuous bag setup.
SPECIFIC QUESTION:
What arrangement do you suggest for a quick attach / release system for the following bags I will use to hold gear?
CONTEXT:
The black horizontal lines below are actually "MOLLE" loops.
I want to connect two of these bags, back 2 back via the "MOLLE" loops.
I'm thinking some kind of clips that I can loop around the sides of the sack to connect them together.
NOTE:
- I use these sacks because they are inconspicuous collapsible things I can carry anywhere and not draw attention. Example, I wear these under my jacket with food inside when I go to the movies.
- I typically wear such bags as a "side sling" that I can quickly stick my hand into instead of as a backpack shown above. (The sack wraps under my arm with the opening near my belly button)
- The bulk of my gear will be in the main sack of the two sacks used.
- I have a small powered "personal mobility device" that I need to stash in a second bag identical to the above when I need to enter a building or if it rains.
- When storing the PMD in the second bag I want to be able to attach the two bags together and carry them as one.
- I'm considering creating a cushion for when I sit the bag down using a "Battle Belt"(see below) but again I'm not sure of the best way of stitching it all together considering I also need the bags to be quick release.
When I sit the bag down all the electronics would hit the belt instead of damaging the bag & items within
(I'm not sold on this cushioning part just yet)
