objectively - there is no greater waste of time in the military than rehearsing that particular kind of drill and ceremony.

when it comes to hustling backwards, it is at the very top of the pantheon. even above family readiness groups and area beautification.

Bold. I can agree with that but this is a kid in high school.

That was me once upon a time :flabbynsick: . Probably the only thing that kept me truly interested in ROTC back in high school. Couple of mistakes outside of that obvious drop, but good job continuing regardless. Curious the weight on that rifle. Ours were 11-12 pounds at the time but I know some schools were running around with 3 or 4 pound M1s. I was mad as hell when I finally got my hands on one and felt how much lighter it was. Me and my guys were a bad day away from knocking ourselves clean out :deadrose:
