I knew a few c00ns but u could tell they probably grew up around whites...but for the most part u ain't got to tap dance or kiss ads to get promoted promotions are based on time and completion of very few steps and u get some rank

I agree with you to a certain extent. Use that shyt as a tool or source of income. Don’t be quick to sign up for infantry or some other fugazi shyt. Try to get in and learn some certs, travel a bit, grab some experience and get the fukk out.

If a breh is joining because he’s patriotic and wants to defend “his country”, he’s a fool. If he’s joining for a quick come up and using the system, then I can’t knock him.


Some brehs that go around like “I’m a veteran ” get on my nerves. Lol. Come back to the U.S. and get arrested for sitting at Starbucks, or worse. Getting that Christopher Dorner “you’re still a n-word” treatment. Trying to treat it like it’s some sort of accolade when it should just be a tool to progress in life and nothing more.

Believe me only the white guys are usually the "Extra Gung Ho Patriotic" ones...we brehs used that shyt to get ahead in life ...only one of my circle did the full 20....but like u said its to be used as a stepping stone to something greater

The military gets a bad rap on the Coli for some reason....I'd say it would do a lot of our young lost boys some good and give them a great boost in life with all the benefits at your disposal....it damn sure worked for me and others in my circle...that stupid "boys in the hood" quote was said to me by everyone in my school...more than half of them still on the same block waiting for somebody to die or give them something....

...when i was recruiting, if i was out and about and approached you on a saturday when i wasn't dressed in my class Bs, and you tried me with that adolescent smelling your owns balls s**t....your ass would have been tuned the f**k up. with all of the stress recruiters go through from our station commander, 1st sergeant, and C.O. about numbers....putting the beats to some civilian with anger issues, would have been some needed relief.

try a recruiter the next time you're out....not air force. try a army, marine, or navy recruiter.
