Meanwhile, in one of many alternate futures…

It’s a phrase that echoes through the decades: The graphics have improved so much. The game-play is so much more realistic.

But those playing on the interweb must consent to player data being submitted to a remote game server. In the cloud data centers, military algorithms analyze the most effective plays.

They learn composite strategies to achieve the highest numbers of enemy casualties for minimal friendly losses.

Players don’t realize that the opposite of the oft-repeated refrain is actually true:
While the appearance of games is at its most advanced, warfare is now more like gaming, thanks to big-data analytics.

Makes sense. Certain strategies or actions by nerds in gaming probably have the potential to be helpful if a similar situation happens in real life. I mean, don't wanna push it or anything, but I feel it makes sense. Strategy is strategy whether you're playing games are war.

Right. I'm sure some of these dude's don't even realize it when they pull off stuff in games like that involving multiple fronts, feints, and all kinds of tricks and shyt, but the shyt can get really impressive from a strategic standpoint.
