Milwaukee & Chicago are an hour apart yet have completely different accents

Yeah, we take for granted how big our nation is. In Europe an hour drive can have you speaking an entire different language. This is just a slight different accent.

that’s cap, if I leave Madison and go to mil Mfs will sound different. Even leaving an hour to a small town and it’s different. Not to mention if I go to Illinois, Minnesota or Iowa

Philly, DC, Bmore, DE, Southern MD, and parts of VA all have a variation of the same accent.
Philly's is more "hip hop/italian"
Bmore's is more "Welsh/Tidewater"
DC's is more "North Carolinian".
