Been wanting to learn for a minute. Got a few sites, that teach a few words and sentences, but having a hard time trying to find something that can give me a great grasp of the language. And No, I'm not copping Rosetta Stone to learn it. (I'm poe) But I am interested in learning the language any links, sites, or anything helpful would be appreciated.

Just want to learn what many would consider the main language of Africa.

Congrats on your knowledge of foreign languages. I did the google translate thing. at this stage of the game the only words I actually recognized was "help" and "swahili" any info, sites or anything that would be dope.

Nasema Kiswahili. I have Teach Yourself, FSI, Living Language, Berlitz, Colloquial Kiswahili, Kiswahili: A Foundation for speaking, reading, and writing, Simplified Swahili Grammar (recommend), and a bunch of other grammars/dictionaries. I can upload what you want.

*I have Rosetta Stone, too. You have to download Daemon Tools (free) to use it though.

If you gonna learn Swahili....make sure it's of the Tanzanian type / dialect breh....don't go learning that fake Kenyan 'market stall Gucci type' bootleg Swahili.....
