from what I read, it seems like nearly all British made cars have electrical problems though... :mjpls:

I sell them. The old ones are meh. The new ones are basically FWD BMWs. All of the same systems down to the iDrive controller in the center console. Drives great and gets ridiculous gas mileage.

The new JCWs won't be out until next year but should make 230hp. Probably not worth it to other people besides former JCW owners.

And they aren't cheap at all. Even used. I sold one last Saturday that stickered at $35.5K.

I have never been in one, but I love how you can customize them in almost any way. And from what I heard they are awesome driving machines. I wouldn't mind having one as a daily driver.

The bad for me was turbo's give in really quickly and parts were really expensive.

The drive is fun though. I wouldn't recommend buying one new because they are over priced but you need a warranty because BMW rips with their maintenance pricing. .

I really like the original new model. The new ones look really odd and large. There are two cooper works on my block actually, haha. One of my brahs girlfriends had one in high school when they first came out, fun little car.

I would probably buy a GTI or R for that type of money.

For me fwd cars aren't practical at all... not sure where yall live.

A co-worker of mine got one. Saw him leave the job the other week in a newer dark blue one. I was like :whoo:

I can't forget about a girl I used to holler at had one ... But she blew the engine out because she never changed the oil :mjlol:

There are some quality issues with the Mini Cooper. The Works editions with super-charged engines have even more issues. All those new JCW car owners paid more for more power and more problems. I haven't heard anything yet about the new turbo-charged versions.
Mini Cooper service isn't cheap.
