Mini Review on the Audio Technica M50s

They're not the best $100 phones nor do they have a flat response.

But they are good if you're stepping up from Beats and Skullcandy.

Name a couple of better ones @ $100, I haven't found a single one.

perfect review. they do grind down on you after a while. i use them to mix...definitely not flat but easy to learn

i got the straight cord. in my experience the coiled cord wear out from the constant stretching

Only Amazon's really selling them for that low. They're really $150-$200 headphones and for that price there's better alternatives. For that $100 price I'd say the Shure 440s or AKG 240s are better all around cans they just don't have as hyped of bass response as the M50s because they are more neutral.

I'm not saying they're bad at all, I got a pair myself but they've really become over hyped lately.
