Uncertain grounds
When you take into account taxes, $15 or $20 dollars isnt shyt. With rent going up and costs of goods and services going up..paying people less than $30 is almost inhumane depending on where and who you are working for.

Work 40 hours on $20 and get like $625 in your account. What are you supposed to do with that? :heh:

Other option is raising the standard deduction from $12000 to like $24000 or $30000. That would probably be easier to accomplish legislatively and would let states and markets figure out the wage issue.

Either way, the status quo is ass.

Interesting argument but there are people graduating college not starting off at $30 an hour which translates to $60k per year. What do you say about those people? Personally I think a low flat tax from corporations to people will work.
