Nah, she should've been first. Female rappers have a short shelf life. Missy Elliott is the only female rapper with six consecutive platinum albums. Outside of female rappers, the amount of rappers who accomplished this in general is short. To have done it without much impact from streaming is even crazier. She wrote and produced for other artists. There really aren't any female rappers on her level. I could give you list of female rappers lyrically better than Missy, but none have done what Missy has.

that alone can make her considerably the greatest female of all time... without even adding her songs and style
her musical guidance and production has given countless other artists classic albums and songs

reminds me of how Dj Quik has done so much but people only think he makes beats and raps
