never really paid attention to her as a producer, but she gave Total and SWV classics. Underrated imo as a rapper/songwriter/producer

When you say "produce" what do you mean?
Missy is super talented, but I'm pretty sure she's never put together any tracks in her career.
She'll produce the vocals, but somebody else handles the tracks.

She has ideas and she actually has put tracks together. For example, she's credited as co-producer on "Get Ur Freak On". Timbaland was fiddling around with the keyboard and Missy hear that Middle Eastern/Arabic sound. She had Tim go back to it and loop it. He then added drums and the other elements, but that song would not exist had Missy not had Tim loop that one sound. It was the very last song they did for that album.

Missy did the bulk of Total's sophomore album by herself according to the credits.

You're speaking from fact and not notions, I assume.
I doubt this but I'll look it up and BRB.

All the songs Missy gets a producer credit for, the co-producer put the track together.

For example:
11. Do Something
Co-producer, Instruments [All] – Gerard Thomas, Lenny Holmes
Featuring – Missy Elliott, Mocha
Mixed By – Michael Patterson
Producer, Arranged By [Vocals] – Missy Elliott
Recorded By – Michael McCoy, Paul Falcone
Written-By – D. Holmes*, G. Thomas*, M. Elliott*

She gets a sole writing and production credit for There Will Be No #!*@ Tonight! (Interlude), so she might have put that track together.

That's not true. She did 7/18 tracks, but those tracks were co-produced with either Darryl Pearson or Dynamic Duo
