When the olympics were in Australia, they were wearing yellow and green

I remember because the Aboriginal woman won gold medal and it was the highlight of the entire olympics

(fukkery involved in her win but was happy to see her get the gold)
people called in death threats/ harrassing calls to the Black French woman who was favored in the event, she got scared and left the Olympics

Should've clarified my question. I've seen them wear yellow and gold for years. The colors just make no sense to me.

Above the fray.
800 as off this decade. We not in the 400 range yet like that.
unrelated

one of the greatest athletes I ever saw was a sprinter that I grew up with

The high school he went to was a track powerhouse and won the state title

He was a natural 200 meter runner.....but his coach turned him into a good 400 meter runner.
At meets depending on how far apart the events were.....his coach would have him run (and win the 400) and then run the 800 so he could place and the team could get points.......he'd sprint the first 400, dust everybody.......and have just enough stamina to get 2nd or 3rd place.

Seems like fun. They should make this an official event.

I’ve seen this strategy done multiple times.

shyt my old coach once put a breh who was our best 400 runner in the 300 hurdles trying to get him to place :russ: Let’s just say that didn’t turn out well

And most good 200 runner can become good 400 runners if trained for it. A lot convert to 400 in college
