Michael Jordan Paternity Suit -- Alleged Love Child BEGGED His Mom to Sue! | TMZ.com

"we're told her son -- Grant Reynolds (a.k.a Taj) -- desperately wants MJ to acknowledge him as his son, so HE begged his mom to file the docs. We're told Pamela's intention was never to 'call Michael out' -- the lawsuit is simply so her 16-year-old son can have his real (alleged) father be a bigger part of his life."

The fukked up thing is that even if MJ does turn out to be the kids father he'll still get a pass from the media.

"Jordan didn't have time to be a parent because he's such a fierce competitor"..

A metro Atlanta mom who had claimed her 16-year-old son was fathered by NBA great Michael Jordan is dropping a paternity suit against the sports legend.
“Ms. Smith has authorized a dismissal of the current suit against Mr. Jordan,” Pamela Y. Smith’s attorney, Randall M. Kessler told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution via email on Monday.
A YouTube video her son posted earlier this year prompted the divorced mother to file a paternity claim against Jordan, 50, in Fulton County Superior Court.
Jordan counter-sued, showing via his attorney that the teen’s parentage had been established in a 2003 divorce case in which Smith acknowledged that her son was the result of her now-ex-husband, Glennville G. Reynolds.
The two sides, sans Jordan, met in court last week for a status hearing, with the promise that they would return, should they be unable to resolve the concern independent of a judge’s ruling.
Monday, Kessler said his client had made a final decision.
Ms. Smith has relied on our advice and determined that dismissal at this time, without prejudice, is in her son’s best interest,” he said.
It is unclear whether there was anything in the way of a settlement that prompted Smith’s decision to drop the paternity suit.
