I think we see a lot of movement this year. We have a good number of teams out of it already and a lot of teams within striking distance of the second wildcard.

Significant names that will move
  • David Price
  • Jeff Samardjiza
  • Huston Street
  • Ian Kennedy
  • Brendan McCarthy
Potential:
  • Hamels
  • Lee
  • David Murphy

Cardinals, Giants, Jays and Orioles will all probably make moves. Tigers and Yankees might. Will the marlins do anything? Are the braves maxed out payroll wise?

Give me some predictions, Coli :whoo:

I think he came late to baseball because he played football in college. Not too sure, I remember reading something like that once.
Nah, we signed him to a 10 million dollar deal as soon as he graduated from school. He struggled in the minors, finally got called up and struggled out the bullpen. Turned him into a started a couple years ago and he been clownin since

A's are looking @ Brian Dozier of the Twins. good power for the position its the weakspot of the team, Murphy is also an option

Hamels has a ton of years and money on that contract, not sure if hes as movable as Lee/Rollins or Utley. Utley could bring them some decent value

Lee's contract is wild :whoo:

I'm not even really sure how a trade for him would play out. Maybe the phils eat some salary and get a few projectable pieces?

yea id think they'd have to, if im a GM for a team with a loaded farm system id give them 2 B prospects contingent on them paying at least 7-8M of that for next year. hes also hurt with no real details behind it so Cliff may have to stay put

The Marlins have to do something in order to compete and run away from the pack. NL east is real close and has been for a while. Don't think Stanton should be traded. Maybe acquire another starting pitcher that's an established veteran? I don't think a wild card is good enough this season considering how well other teams are playing. But I'll be happy with .500 or a few more wins better.
