I seen the comp film when it came to theaters with my girl; it was cool. Happy they dropped more Gundam content. I miss the 50 episode era, watch this be 24 with a rushed ending.

The only dope episode was episode 2 because it focused on Char piloting the gundam, and had the old school style of gundam episode(war & no kid stuff).

This one isn't beginner-friendly at all. I can barely follow after asking people an explanation of what happened more about the stuff that was happening in the flashback in episode 2. Still lots of terms are lost on me.
This one is already confirmed to just be 12 episodes. I hope they do a more self-contained story here and then leave things open if a sequel happens. Altho that might be wishful thinking. The 2nd half of Witch from Mercury was an atrocious-rushed mess. Just hope it doesn't become like that.

This seems to expect you to know the OG series to auto-fill the gaps. I thought I was misremembering something when I saw Char roll out in the gundam.
12 episodes? Seeing as I have no idea where the story is going yet, it might be too soon to judge the count.

From what I read, in this timeline he stole the gundam where I believe he failed to do in the original timeline? Anyone could correct me if I am wrong.
Best-case scenario it could be more of a focus on the new trio. Perhaps it does well, a more ambitious follow up could happen to consider all the things that could be a consequence of this following an alternate timeline.
But yeah still too early to get a feel what they trying to do with this new entry.

I can understand that with it being an AU where the federation lost in he war. It's a whole story that happen, so they don't need to build a whole new world and have a lot to work on.
I know, WfM started off so good. 12 EPs is way to short to tell a story. They could've made this into 2 movies if that was the case.
Yeah.. its alternate history where Char got his way and somehow they left a prototype gundam just sitting out. At least when Amuro found it he wasn't supposed to be out there. But yeah, its a little too fanfictiony at this point. They gotta turn it into a real story asap

Seems like the show is about to pick up. Now that Zeon and Zeon Black Ops got each girl.
Gundam is finished. I say this as a long time fan. I liked the new Seed movie but they're just retreading old ground with all this current shyt. Now we got an alternate time line where Char got the 0079? Man c'mon with this bull shyt.
