With the xbox one having serious protection with the internet check in... It seems as if Sony will be the main goal hackers to mod. This alone makes owning a ps4 out the gate a better option.

MS just salty that the 360 was so easy to mod. Then again the amount of people who modded their xbox is small.

seeing how hard it was to mod the ps3, i think the ps4 will be an even tougher challenge.

Both will be hacked eventually, it's inevitable. If anything because the XboxOne has so many restrictions, I think it will be hacked earlier on just to tell Microsoft fukk them.

Ehhh It wasn't that hard. I modded mine with my phone. Sony was super salty though and tried to prosecute anyone who got caught with a modded ps3. Microsoft just updated their joint and banned people from xbox live. Might be why they sold so many systems lol.

nah that red ring is why they sold so many consoles. i don't know anyone who only purchased one 360. i only gamed with them for a year and some change and i purchased 2 since my first crapped out.

what you talkin about ? I know cats who bought backup consoles so whenever the modded one got banned, he'd switch to the other one.

MS still made a gang of money through xbox live(content). That's why a lot of us xbox owners are mad af right now because MS built all this goodwill with the 360 only to spit in nicca's faces with the Xbox1.

360 was easy to mod, hell I used to mod mine easily, then all this added restrictions, certain games wouldnt play unless you updated I just said f it and haven't touched my Xbox in she's

I hope this is the case but I don't think either will be cracked within the first year or two. Sony really locked it down hard after PS3 security flaws got exposed. I would imagine that was a top priority for PS4. Nothing is unhackable, but expect to never be able to play online with a hacked system. Too many system checks on Sony/MS's end to be able to run around online with backup games and a custom firmware.

The games are probably going to be 50 to 100 gigs a piece. I guess if you're paying for the banwidth go ahead and steal away... but dropping $100 a month on internet yet being too broke for retail video games is living backwards.

I doubt there's enough people with that connection and willing to mod to put a dent in the market.
