This rumor comes from Twitter user Okami, who has accurately leaked Call of Duty information in the past. More specifically, they leaked the existence of the Modern Warfare Gunfight beta before it was officially announced, which gives their claims a little more credibility. Now Okami has made some claims about the Modern Warfare Warzone mode, but has also said that a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered game is coming out this year.

I just replayed through mw2 on Xbox one x, no Russian is still wild.

GameStop had a 4 for $10 on 360 titles, I got mw2, Blops 1, Blops 2, call of duty 3, call of duty 2 and world at war, blue dragon and something else I can’t remember.

Now that i think of it, this reboot is all of the MW games rolled into one package (the multiplayer at least) because they got maps from the various games. Rust being a modern warfare 2 original
