Friend in the military said Fort Hood is a fukked up place. He walked in on a train being ran on a female recruit who he said didnt look like she was enjoying but she was white and all them dudes where white so he knew better than to spark anything up since he a breh.

Reached out to breh about this and shyt ended up worse. From other privates he gathered she ended up being discharged on some psych shyt and just tossed into the bushes. She kept her mouth shut about rape and it spread around base so she would end up getting gangbanged and abused until she went AWOL and was found in nearby town OD on meth. 2nd its not hard to imagine this stuff not happening in the army. Cause some of this wild behavior I have seen in college. And the army and college is similar in that you got a bunch of young green folks cooped up with one another often times in a small as town with nothing to do

This. The only ones that make serious money are officers. An O-1 starts at $32,000+, while it takes E-5 and below 8 YEARS to earn that much, and that's the just the base salary. Officers also get a bigger housing allowance for some fukking reason.

Let me drop an example for you un knowing folk, and another fact. My Senior Chief (a Navy E-8) once half-jokingly told this lieutenant (Navy O-3) that he was salty because the LT. made more money than him. Mind you, this Senior Chief had been in for 16 years, while the Lt. had only been in for 8. Numbers wise, the current totals are 64K for the O-3, and 51K for the E-8. THAT'S why you will sometimes see even high-ranking enlisted shacking up with a roommate in high cost areas.

Edit: An E-5 at 5 makes 35k LESS than an O-3 at 5. This is the main reason why I tell people to join the military as an officer. Why damn near kill yourself by carrying heavy shyt up a ladder well for peanuts when you can become middle-class in 4-5 years by being a manager?

This will show my age but i was making like $350-$400 as an E1. Got married just for the BAH but my 1SG was so cool, he let me keep a room in the barracks since my spouse was in STL

During the latest press, the lawyer(?) mentioned frequent barracks checks and lack of cameras as concerns. Kinda threw me off.. Unless it's in thats units SOP to do so, I've never been apart of a unit that does that daily room checks of that nature. She was talking about 8am, 9am, 1300, 1500, etc. As far as the cameras, I've been to Hood for training a couple times. Most of those barracks are old, hell even newer joints have no cameras installed.

She also thinks that the Pvt sending serial numbers to her NCO raises questions as well. Little do they know.. BUT I think where she's trying to get at is possibly the NCO was texting between both phones himself.
