2 of the best produced albums ive ever heard. 2 of those rare albums that i can play from beginning to end without skipping a track. i grew up on both these albums so choosing one over the other is kinda hard but if a gun was to my head :birdman: i would have to go with E.1999. the beats are pretty much on par with each other to me. the vocals would be the deciding factor. Guru is a VERY talented MC but he could def bore u at times with that monotone delivery. which one yall got???

I'm surely biased off the strength E. 1999 may very well be the singular disc to have spent the most time in my discman of all time...and I didn't even listen to Moment of Truth until I downloaded it years after the fact...but Bone Thugs in a landslide

Hate to bring back a dead thread, but I'm surprised East 1999 got so many nods over Moment of Truth. Tough call, I still might say Moment of Truth, but East 1999 is in my opinion the most underrated album of all time in terms of production.

The mix of samples and live instruments is crazy. The Sega genesis samples...damn the whole album is so musical and creative. Good thread man. shyt, I might call it a tie, just bumped E. 1999 yesterday. Nostalgia was through the roof.

I loved both albums when they first dropped, but now, over a decade later, of the two I'm only listening to Moment of Truth. I tried listening to E1999 a year or so ago, and I didn't even feel any nostalgia.
